Mathmatical Problems

Callahan flunked math. Third and two on the sixth yard line? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you give the ball to #19. Yes he fumbled the ball, but he seems to be the best offensive player right now. He was moving the pile in the first half. The chances were reasonably good he would had gotten two yards. Instead Keller rolls out and loses yardage.

I agree...I was yelling my a$$ off as to why the hell we didn't put him in there. He could have at least given us that first down

And if he completes a touchdown pass...Callahan was a genius?

(I personally would have gone with Q, as well, but just saying)

I don't think Callahan can look like a genius no matter what he does this season and maybe never. Personally I thought it has been worse to go for it on 4th in the red zone. Take your points (field goal) and let the offense come away with something. They have walked off the field demorilized enough times.

U now what would have happened if the offensive line couldnt make the block, like any other time, and we dont make the 3rd down

I agree, to an extent...but then, he's just playing not to lose badly and we criticize him anyway.

screw that!! he threw for on 3rd and 2 TWICE in the MIZZOU game too!! He is so egotistical that he can't learn from his own bad mistakes and play calling.

who knows how many times he has thrown it on 3rd and 4th and short over the last 4 years and didn't get it? i bet we would be astounded how many times. Even if he blames the players and says (as he always does) "we didn't execute"

well guess what 'genius' let the kids go out there and kick some a$$!! and BTW execution comes from practice, practice, practice...but wait!! what's that? you don't even meet as a team on Monday's? and the 3 full practices you have, you don't run full pads? and never go ones v ones?

hhmmmm...I just can't see why the players wouldn't be able to 'execute' your stupid short yardage "package"!!!!!!

At that point in the game, it was 4 down territory. We had to make 2 yards in 2 downs. I think Q could have done it.
