So somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.

But I've listened to pretty much every single Frost presser since he became head coach. And I don't ever remember him ever saying anything about directing what Chinander does on defense. I specifically remember early on Frost would just say "I let coach Chinander coach that side of the ball."

Now I have no idea if Mickey has the chops to help correct any of the problems we have on defense...but right out of the gate, he's at least trying. And to me that's worth a lot.

its refreshing to say the least.  I dont know how much first hand experience MJ has either but I'm sure he's had a couple calls w/ his brother Vance to get his take on why we're so piss poor defensively

As a Bronco fan, I remember his bro Vance being the foremost expert on great weeks of practice prior to being thumped in the game.

It's interesting that this is one of the first changes made by Joseph.  Is that really the goal to cut back on partying by players or what are the other advantages?

I'd imagine with all that's going on this season and has gone on during the tenure of these kids it's a way of checking in on them post game day (and post game day night) to gauge where they are with things.
