The only way I see they rest him is if we get ahead by a couple TDs and the game is under control.  Now, I would be perfectly fine with having fewer caries than last week.  Hopefully, Irvin can take some more of those carries and do well.  

Yant can stay on the sidelines in my book.

Was there any word on what the injury was and how long he would be out?

Come to think of it, have we seen him in the wingback position that we saw from fall camp clips?

 
Other than the Georgia Southern game, it appears that Thompson's EPA is basically 0.  After the first half against Northwestern it would be negative (but for GaS).


 
Tommi Hill warmed up with the receivers instead of the DBs for those not checking twitter. He was an athlete in high school, not sure if it's long term or just to fill in depth. Janiran Bonner also made the trip.

either he or Yant would be changing numbers then. That’s not why it doesn’t make sense.
