2022 Husker Football Schedule

I just want to go back in time and not cancel the Akron game. What does that do to his tenure?

Thank your lucky stars the game was canceled. Ask Northwestern if they are glad the game "was played" against my Zips a few years ago.

Yes Akron is the greatest, we should be happy we didn't play

Huskers play four of the bottom five.

Bad news: we've already played three of them, lost to one and still have one of the worst defenses in the country.

Good news:  There's still one left on the schedule...

I know this is more rhetorical, but are the defenses so good for those guys, because they played the bottom 5 teams on offense?

The opponent adjusted numbers tell a similar story, so I think they're just good.

I also like yards per play because it accounts for teams like Minnesota who play defense by keeping their defense off the field. Minnesota does drop to 15th there (still very good), but Iowa, Illinois, and Michigan are 1/2/3 for YPP. No matter how you slice it, we will be playing 4 of the best defenses in the country and a fifth that's very good.
