South Stadium Renovation

The absorbed amount of useless pop up ads on iPads and the “laughing” emoji reaction tabs on HuskerBoard (instead of a thumbs down)  on this site kinda wants to make me quit it.

I know I have nothing to offer except that i am i a reader and a sometimes poster who just gives a take here and there (usually 4 beers in) so i don’t matter, but this board really sucks on most threads when I have to push the “X” on EVERY single thread I enter top and bottom for dumbass ads. Then reload a new thread or page and have to push X on ads top and bottom. Including recruiting, which I follow, and then tap X on every single page.

if I don’t close the ads, my page reloads and when I scroll it jumps back up to some random post I already read.

been here since like 09, but this is just stupid w the laughing emoji highlighted post and the top AND bottom ads.

It’s better than the Clorox Bleach Flower ads flowing across my screen we had a year ago, but damn….can we clean this s#!t up?

I am I just want to read the damn Cornhusker news and stuff.

Watching the LSU game and noticed their south stadium. Maybe demo memorials south stadium and do something similar

Nebraska isn't going to add seats to Memorial Stadium.  They are going to demolish the South Stadium and reduce that section by at least half, and make the top area a beer garden, SRO area, with maybe an indoor seating area at the top of the section.

Shouldn't add any doing this. matching the club levels with making wider seating down below should reduce seating. Still could add some sort of SRO on top of club levels with screens moved up top on the corners as well. Current south stadium is 25k seats? Reduce it down to 15k If needed

Wreck the whole thing down. Match the club levels on East stadium. Plant corn in the back of the endzones and behind the benches like Georgia did with bushes

I liked it. Real hedge instead of crappy construction barrier fence.  And beautiful natural grass.

Anyway I prefer natural Photinia Red Robin hedge in Memorial.  Don't like construction barrier fence (eye sore IMO)

Add a Dome.  Maybe then we could have played that Akron game and Frosty would be playing for a NC this year.

Then again, maybe not ^_^

Big House.  Notice mostly underground stadium (minus new press box building).  Also known as "Big Hole" or "Big Crater"

Thus, very easy to build removable dome  ;)

Agreed.  Protect heavy snow.  Actually sometimes I liked Snow Bowl events

"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"  :cheers
