If and when a new coach gets hired do you believe the roster gets smaller?

I would worry about Mickey not making the tough cuts that are needed because so and so has been loyal to him. I am praying no whip next year. Totally unimpressed with him.  I am dreaming of cutting those who can't/are not going to add anything to the team, and a mass influx of NIL talent. Hopefully with better coaching and talent, NU can get to a bowl game.  My other thought is what would Mickey run on offense? I am ready for the wishbone over the crap I have the last 20 years. I write that semi-sarcastically. Beef up the line and let's push the other team around for a change.

Familiarity with the players. He has ties with these guys. He knows them. He may feel loyalty to them. (...and he may not) A new guy can cut anyone he wants because he has zero ties to them or their families. Just a thought.
