He's gone again. I think it's the 3rd or 4th sock of his we've banned since banning Pimpernel, and probably his like... 7th or 8th account overall.
I doubt that'll sink in because a ban hasn't stopped him at any other point in the last decade, but one can hope.

I would love it if anybody who sneaks back on as a sock would get a label in their profile like the one you get that says "Admin".

Like one that says "Sock" or something? That'd actually be pretty hilarious. It'd be like a public shaming of sorts.
There are a lot of people who have come back under various accounts over the years, usually trying to lay low and not let on who they once were. But, we always know.

Yeah I think it would be a really funny humbling. Somebody who wants back so bad should wear the scarlet letter. Might keep em' on the straight and narrow.

I am not as up date as I once was here. What did he get banned for/when? These days it’s hard for me to keep track of names.
I remember the golden flu years. The I come from a naturally strong family guy from Wisconsin was one of the best if not the best I’ve seen since I’ve joined though.

These are two different dudes. FLU was/is a middle school teacher in Louisiana. WiFi was a Wisconsin fan posing as a Husker fan to stir shit up.

FLU's ban was before my moderator times but it was the result of long history of personal attacks/trolling. He then spent years rejoining under various sock accounts which we'd promptly ban. The Scarlet Pimpernel was his most recent adventure; however, when we initially discovered it was him, it was years removed from his initial BS and he seemed to have turned a corner (outside of still referencing his Louisiana roots, which if his posting style wasn't already a dead giveaway, that sure was).
Earlier this year though, he started to be more of himself again... acting like a know-it-all, even trying to play the victim by admitting he had been banned before. Eventually enough was enough again so we banned Pimpernel. He's tried to come back under three accounts since.
He's not the brightest bulb in the pack and he doesn't comprehend why most people here don't enjoy having him around. He think it's all our problem and not his.
