GEEZ Louise... everybody's all PO'd because we didn't win. Well, I'm not thrilled myself but, this was the best they've looked in a LONG TIME!!! Does BC need to go, yep. All I'm saying is give the kids a break they DID NOT QUIT!!!!! KEEERIST, maybe there ARE more "Fairweather Fans" around here than I realized.

Me too but, what are you gonna do? Don't be dissin' the players!!! THEY GAVE IT THEIR ALL!!

 
I am so convinced we have talent. The coaching is holding us back. Why did it take all season before Coz finally put some real pressure on a QB.

It's interesting that you mention that....... got me to thinking that the team showed some cohesiveness while fighting for one another today. Now, that's what I want to see (win or lose). Unfortunately, I haven't seen that much this year. Hopefully, that cohesiveness displayed in Austin will also take place in Lawrence.....

I don't like the coaches...the lack the leadership any college team needs. Watson may be the exception. There are a few players that have shot off their mouth off the field, and that irritates me, but then again, it is a perfect example of how there is no leadership on this team, or someone would have said something to put a stop to it. I don't like former players being put down but current players that have yet to prove their ability on the field. There are a minority of players that are doing that...and that burns my bacon.

Desperate times call for desperate measure. I guess when your job is on the line and you realize that your coaching career is fizzling you try something different to see if you can find a way to win. :)

 
Maybe because there wasn't a Husker fan alive who knew that Cally would find a way to tank this game, and he did a miraculous job at it. I'm not mad at the players, they were only following the same 1st half gameplan that absolutely had to hold up the entire game.

 
Losing sucks. Winning cures all. The players busted their azzes off today. No one quit. The effort by the players was good. The result was not good enough to win. Hopefully the Huskers will stick it to KU.

It was good to see an exciting game for a change, for sure. I do not want to question whether the Huskers improved their play, but the one thing we'll never know is what kind of game Texas played today. Did they play better or worse than when k-state whipped 'em? Maybe they would have beaten ou today. Maybe they played down to our level. Maybe we played up to theirs. The only clue I get is that they must have been pretty sharp, no turnovers.

 
Considering how the past 3 or 4 games have gone, this team played very well today. I think a lot of us were expecting a blow-out but it didn't happen
