I'm going to throw my opinion into this never ending coaching thread. The more I review what TO said during his new AD interim job, the letter to former players, and his talks since then, I really do not believe he will make a change from one extreme to another (example: EX-NFL coach for a fiery D-Coordinator). I think after all the coaches he will interview and spend time with, the next coach will be Turner Gill. When I listen, Dr. Tom talks about a fix that will take time. He talks about tradition, integrity and family. I think those things point to Gill, who has incredible character and is doing his OTJ training in Buffalo, not here at NU. I think he will be the man to instill Husker pride and character back where it should be. I dont see him calling the plays on offense or defense. He will surround himself with competent people to do their job successfully. He will manage the staff, the players, the game, go into recruits home and talk about family, education, & football on Saturdays. He will run a balance offense, not too complicated so the players can be successful. Gill and Osborne will reunite and return what it means to be a Nebraska Cornhusker and rooting for the Big Red. So long to Husker Nation, say hello to Big Red Football.
