OT Jacob Hood -> Nebraska

Nice depth piece that bridges the gap between the age of our tackles/incoming class. Because there is nobody behind them.

Well, I hope he comes in and surprises a lot of people.  It's odd that we would be the only program seriously looking at an OT in the portal.
I'm far from an expert on this stuff, but my guess is that the better programs are looking for immediate upgrades/help.  This guy is younger, and seems like a bit of a project, but he seems like a good addition.

Potentially down the road a better outcome than Rouse? Rouse only had one year left and would miss spring with shoulder surgery, whereas Hood has multiple years to develop, as well as adding depth.

Is that a whimsical Stretch ??

Hood has yet to see the field. Rouse has actually produced and produced very early. Hard to say.

Yes it is.  They weren't mutually exclusive.

True, but spending a year on georgias scout team is going to prepare him well to take on the big ten west. He went against NFL players everyday in practice.
