Senior Day on Saturday against Kansas State

I'm not trying to be a holier than thou Cornhusker Fan, but I started thinking about how this Saturday's game against KSU is "Senior Day". I'm hoping that the fans at the stadium give a rousing ovation to the players who are playing their last game at Memorial Stadium. They've experienced some good times, and some bad times, let alone some really bad times. The players who started as Freshmen might have experienced the "Callahan Era" if Tom Osborne decides to bring in a new coaching staff for the 2008 season.

All I'm trying to say is, for the Seniors, and for the players and For the love of the game, lets just be the best Cornhusker fans we can be in this one and just let what happens, happen at the end of the season.

I totally agree. Let's let these kids go out with a resounding ovation, win or lose.

Love 'em, hate 'em, whatever - they've strapped on their pads, sweat, bled and played for us. They are Huskers.

Let's give them the respect they deserve.

Yes! And let's not embarrass ourselves with antics voicing our displeasure with the coaches. Anyone looking to be the next head man may notice. Let's look as special as we think we are.

I thought that meant Senior Citizens got in the game for free...

I am sure they all wanted bigger and better things during their 4-5 years but the least we can show them is that we appreciate their effort.

GBR
