Highly doubt it as Coach Rhule has said he won't take anyone back that leaves via the portal but who knows.

 
Purdy definitely got duped here, but I guess he should have also done his research to see if his new, now old coach was in any rumors of going elsewhere.  

 
I wonder when the last time there was a playoff game with as many ex-Huskers playing.  Not just on rosters.

Eagles - Jurgens, Stoll

Bucs - David, Palmer

 
This is kind of fun what football has become.  A head coach with a career record of 34-48 that is 0-3 in bowl games gets a 5 year contract for god knows what kind of $$$.

You would be surprised at what some HS  FB coaches make that don't teach and just do that!

As a new HS HC in track, I will tell you that is not coming my way soon!   :lol:

 
Also money and everything else in College sports have gotten crazy.  Somebody needs to create a level playing field.  Or at least come up with some type of common sense rules.

I'll gladly take a head coaching job for a cool $500k year with incentives for $750k to bring these contracts back to reality.
