2023-24 Season Notes

Huskers are pretty much a lock for March Madness tournament.

But this is concerning stat

Huskers at Home - 17-1

Huskers on the Road - 2-8

(one neutral game)

It's not easy for anyone to win on the road, but at least 3-7 would be more digestible.

Hopefully they win at Michigan to get to 3-8 on the road + pick up a  win or two in the conference tournament. 

 
Fred and Co. have done a great job. Two seasons back it looked bleak... now he's entering Tim Miles/Danny Nee/Harry Good territory! THAT EVER-RARE TOURNEY BID!!

 
They are probably better off getting the 4 seed based on the fact that Wisconsin who is playing horrible is likely to end up the 5 seed & Iowa who will probably be the 6 seed is playing really good right now.

With the Michigan State win over Northwestern tonight, we are locked in for the number three seed in the BIG tourney as long as we take care of business this weekend at Michigan.

They beat us there and we beat them at home by a larger margin.   Unless Minnesota makes a run in the tournament,  I think it's Fred's to lose.   The game there has no bearing imo because we blew them out at home.   Those are a wash at worst.
