Barthel has been recruiting him since he was a coach at UConn.

212 carries for 1,824 yards (8.6 ypc) and 25 TDs last year.

Interesting that he's planning two trips back to back.  This sure seems like it would be a surprise if we don't get him.  247 has him rated fairly decently.  A mid to high 3 star at 87.  Wonder why the other sites don't have any rating on him.

The way I interpreted how it read, he is coming the first weekend to work out for the staff.  If they like what they see, they'll give him the go-ahead to come back for an OV the following weekend.

But, if he does get the invite to come back, it would seem like we'd be in the driver's seat.

So Barthel likes him, but the rest of the staff needs convinced.

 
Sounds like we see him primarily as a RB but can also work out of the slot and return kicks and punts.

 
Did not end up visiting this weekend.  No reason listed.

Supposed to visit UConn next weekend.  Could obviously switch but if he doesn't get here that would seem to be telling.
