NHL 2023-24

Hard to believe but the Oilers or Stars will be in the Stanley Cup Finals Championship game.  I'm pretty geeked  chuckleshuffle

I am proud of the Dallas Stars and their season, and making it to the WCFinals   :worship

I am super happy the Edmonton Oilers are go to the Stanley Cup Finals  :woo :woo

Down in the Series 2-1 and then win 3 straight games ?!!?!!!  Now playing in the Finals ?!!?!!?

I am still watching, but the season is in fact, over after my Avs are eliminated.  Ha!  I am rooting hard for a Canadian cup though.   Also glad a drought will end, if my team is out I just want someone new to win.

1990……dayum that’s a long time.

1993 was the last time any Canadian team won the cup.

I was pulling for Dallas, only because I bet on them to win the West about game 3 of their series with the Avs. They looked kinda like a wagon about then. But I absolutely hate Deboer and have never been a fan of any Texas team.  I still don’t understand how Edmonton looked so much better against them. Oilers and Avs are basically the same team except McDavid is a tick better than Mack and the Avs D is slightly better. Avs just didn’t show for that series.

Not sure who I’m for in the finals….Prob Oilers. Although it has been sort of fun keeping Lord Stanley’s cup south of the border for so long.

 
I was really hoping that the Rangers would figure things out and win, especially for my wife who is a huge Rangers fan. What a disappointment. Now that they are done, I'm all in for the Panthers. I do not want to live in a world with Cory Perry and Evander Kane, two of the biggest douche nozzles in the league, celebrating a cup win together.

Very good point that I had not considered yet. Officially on the Panthers bandwagon now.

Yeah. 33 shots, 33 saves.

Normally a team gets out shot 19-33, they prob not gonna win, or for sure not going to win a shutout 3-0. Panthers are tough when they can grind. I’m gonna say Florida wins the series 4-1 maybe 4-2. Over 2500 miles apart may impact the traveling teams a little extra.
