2024 Alternate Jerseys

Why not just have a light yellow trim around the numbers and call it a day?  

It's not an alternate jersey until you bring your binoculars, and read up on the backstory about 1944 Nebraska vs Iowa State.  The first battle of corn on the cobb and the Missouri River.

I doubt it will happen this season, but I'd like to see 3 alternate jerseys in the season.  One for away, and two for Home Games.

I still want the corn helmet, but with the Nebraska N, not the 90s logo.

What if they did a corn helmet, but instead of it being yellow, they did the outline of corn in black or red?

Ya, they could make it less corny. But is that what we want?

The yellow/gold helmets are Dope.  Would be cool to have matching color pants of the helmet, along with a red jersey.  Go all in as you said, and be Nebraska Cornhuskers  chuckleshuffle

I swear a few years ago I saw a similar concept but it had green on the front to look like the husk.  I don't recall if it had an N on the side or not.  I think it had a white face mask.  although "corny" I thought it would be cool to rock it for a game.

Call me a traditionalist but if it ain't broke don't fix it. I don't mind the alternates but the best ones are simple. When they try to get to flashy they just look like eye sores. Stay away from chrome. My favorites have been the throwbacks and Blackshirt ones without the gaudy numbers.

I never liked the old cowboy polo mascot… til they brought the blonde Herbie back and he is really scary, so now I want the polo cowboy back.

Have we done a matte white yet? I think we’ve done matte black and matte red helmets and I remember not liking them much.
