** 2024 Opponent Preview : Colorado (Game 2) **

NDSU blew that drive with that clock. Payton was gonna go for 15 on that draw play. Colorado is taking this game over as expected in the second half after adjustments. 
 

the play calling is lacking on offense. Safetys stuffed down in the box and corners have no fear of getting beat deep/mid just inside. They are gonna have to do some kind of bubble screen or PA to help keep that defense a little more honest.

CU fans told us twice our losses in Boulder were classic "altitude games." 

NDSU is running out of gas, and Colorado is going to win by a couple more scores. 

Let Hunter get away with OPI all game and they're going to beat us.

I agree. Our secondary wasn't great last year and Colorado is going to put a lot of pressure on us. 

I think it will be a close game but that Colorado is more likely to win the turnover battle and get the win. I hope I'm wrong. 

 
Not sure what to think, but it's going to take all 11 guys on defense to shut Shadeur down. Sometimes it'll need to be the line, sometimes the LBs and sometimes the DBs to make a play. But it seems like they can't f up and have a breakdown in coverage.

 
Hunter has gotten the benefit of the doubt on many calls tonight, but that catch was just ridiculous. The dude is amazing.

 
This wouldn’t inspire a lot of hope if I was a Buff fan. This game perfectly highlighted their flaws and their highs. They are the same team with new names and an improved Sanders/Hunter and a few good WR.
