I have no clue how they couldn't overrule that, it shows him tackled beyond the spot the ref gave them.TERRIBLE call by that ref. He shouldn't get another call to ref the rest of the season.
Thankfully, the FG was good though it should've been with no time on the clock.
At least they won.I have no clue how they couldn't overrule that, it shows him tackled beyond the spot the ref gave them.
It's ND, they were #5 and lost, so next week they'll drop to 6, they have to keep them highly ranked. At least they won.
But yes, his hips were at the line to gain. Terrible call.

From Short Side Options blogs, if the DL and LB's can stuff the run and own the LOS, that'll allow the safeties to play over the top in pass support and not have to creep in to assist in the run game. But I agree that our secondary is the weakest link on the D. And no DB even Prime in his Prime could cover a receiver like Hunter while he simply runs around like a backyard game..IMHO, Sanders and Hunter/Horn Jr will probably be the best we see this season at their respective positions. Best way to hurt CU is keep their O off the field. Some time consuming drives to dominant the TOP.We're going to need to get some turnovers and bring Sanders to the ground a lot. Him just scrambling is a recipe for broken coverages, and we'll need to pick a couple off. I'm worried about our DBs on islands....well see.

They have no running game. Every down is an obvious pass down. I think they are going to rotate a ton because there's gonna be a lot of running.Which may mean Nash and Ty are on the bench if in obvious pass downs. They are monsters, don't get me wrong, but can they catch Sanders and bring him down?
