Colorado Post-Game Pressers

If I were Colorado AD, knowing his departure is inevitable, I’d get rid of Deion now. Get out in front of this before Deion leaves on his own narrative. Also this allows new staff to salvage what they can of recruiting class but also the program before Deion drives more players away.

CU doesn't have the money to fire him.  Deion has to leave on his own (or he has to do something that invalidates the buyout).

It's really, really hard to envision Deion living and breathing Colorado football when his boys are gone.

It's much easier to envision Colorado doing no better and possibly worse than last year, given their schedule and an incomplete roster of talent that every opposing coach can exploit. With last year's white hot lovefest in the rear view mirror, the only story left is the rapid decline of Coach Prime, and my guess is he'll engineer his way out of that well before his contract ends.

It would not surprise me one bit if they went back and coaxed the MSU Coach (Mel Tucker) to come back, were Sanders to leave for a different job.

He was not thought of well there and probably have some bitter taste the way that he left but it would be an issue of he needs rehab and they would be desperate for a decent coach they can hire on the cheap.

GO BIG RED!

Shilo Sanders had surgery on his arm after trying to tackle Dowdell on the play in the bottom tweet.

So hard to pick my favorite part of Deion's cringe-worthy pressers, but one of the things I love about his mid-week ones is how he tries to fumble through sheets of paper to find a player's name because he just legitimately doesn't know his team.

Man. Hard to watch.

If CU gets rid of him, it costs them $13 million. If they wait to let him leave on his own terms, they get to continue to reap the benefits of massive merchandising, a 20% increase in admissions, and unreal publicity. Colorado as a school does not care about football success.

The pure epitome of "a sucker being born every minute" if they'd continue to see those kinds of boosts. Not sure how in the hell they'd sustain the increased ticket sales if the team is hot garbage but I wouldn't put it past their fans to be that stupid, honestly.

I still don't even understand how he broke his arm. It can't be that play. It was a routine tackle, he went low, and he was still on the field the play after hanging both arms at his side. I've fractured my forearm and it hurt like a sumb!^@h, you wouldn't want to stay out there another play after you just got bulldozed with a throbbing arm like that, let alone hanging it at your side.

I think that's why Travis Hunter chose to let him roll in unopposed.
You can see him half a$$ it on the play that Shilo got ran over too. For all the hype Hunter seems pretty soft on defense.

I don't think they confirmed exactly what the injury was. Might have been a tear somewhere.

I’ve thought the same. I haven’t seen any video of what he did after this play.
