IDK man. Based on UNI beating the St. Thomas Tommies (a team I have never even heard of before) 17-10?

The only thing I know about St. Thomas is they got the custard knocked out of them by a Division II team.

Maybe UNI was looking forward to Nebraska.

Score looked worse than what actually happened. Still lost to a DII school.

St. Thomas traditionally is a good program. Should have beat UNI. There was one bad call made defensively that played a big part in the outcome.

Let's just hope the boys do not sleep walk into this game!

They need to have the attitude that this is a statement game.  Lower level programs DON'T come to our house and win.  Have the attitude that it needs to basically be decided by halftime....not that it IS going to be decided.....but that they are going to make it happen.....and go kick a$$.

Wasn't that in Division III?
I ran cross country against them in DIII 30ish years ago at regionals.

They jumped from DIII to D1 a couple of years ago because  they were dominating their conference in every sport and got booted from the conference.  No other DIII conference would accept them so they went all in and jumped to D1.

I want to see NU win handedly.  D really limit their run game and improvements from week 2.  I'd alos like us to really excel in the 2nd half.  Regardless of reasons or opinions, we need to do those body blows in the 4th Rhule spoke of.  We haven't earned the right in years to call our shot or overlook an opponent.  I know Rhule will have them dialed in.  Call me pessimistically optimistic.
