Should we fire Satterfield??

Well gotta give it to Rhule. He did something the last few regimes failed at. He was willing to make a change for the sake of being better, improving, getting over the hump.

I respect the fact he made a move. 3 games left he said let’s go get a bowl game. To acknowledge our current path was leading to 3 more losses. Now let’s get it done.

keeping in mind I think our offense gets better. But prob not a big jump until next year. I mean the guy just showed up

Be careful here.  Remember Frost was the answer and look how that played out.

This thread got him replaced you know.

Someone laughed at your post and you probably meant it as a joke, but there is no chance that fans have no impact on this stuff. The people who decide these things or decide to put pressure on a coach at a minimum pay attention to people who pay attention to fans.

The Hot Seat comes from the fans, then the media observance, then the media's agreeance with the fans and experts, then it makes it way back to the coaches and AD.

The answer to this thread is still yes. He shouldn’t be anywhere near this program.

and fire Ed Foley

I don't think you can keep an overpaid position coach around.  It looks bad for so many reasons.

He has to be gone at the end of the year right?
I could see him retained in a lower paid position.  I don't see him getting a comparable job after a consecutive failures.  He does have a ton of knowledge and what appears to be a great attitude so why not utilize him if he can be productive in a different role.

I think the thought would be this if I am Rhule.

1. can I find another guy who can coach TEs just as good

2. If option 1 is true can that guy also contribute in recruiting. Best case scenario he is an elite recruiter

I don’t think Satt brings much to the table in recruiting so an evaluation should be done can we do better

Was it ineffective to have TEs float between WR and OL coaches? I believe Bo’s staff did that
