don't get why people are freaking out

One thing that surprises me is when Rhule got here he had a preacher vibe and seemed like a good motivator. Yet there have been many games where the players come out flat and show little emotion. What happened?

The baffling part is that this has been going on for the better part of 20 years with four different head coaches. Even under Pelini, when we'd manage 9 wins, the four losses would often be team wide meltdowns -- offense, defense, and special teams all losing focus and discipline at the same time. And given the chance to collect themselves at halftime, they often came out and played even worse. I still don't get it.

The best of the bunch may have been Scott Frost's 3-9 team, which played ranked teams hard right down to the wire. But that's where they got the reputation for figuring out a way to lose and expecting it to happen. Feels like that's still with us despite new players and coaches.

most people would have been fine being 5-5 at this point before the season started.

we knew raiola would take some bumps as a true freshman so not sure what people were expecting from the offense.

the defense has exceeded expectations in every game except indiana.

so what are people so made about? we have a top 18 recruiting class and on track to make a bowl if we win a favored matchup against wisconsin.
how long you been around? I can't agree with much here...we have had a top 18 recruiting class  but a top 50 performing program for 2 decades. i don't think anyone was thinking 5-5 would be a W at this point....
