The Republican Utopia

Also @BigRedBuster here’s an example

of the MAGA playbook on higher education. Pretty sure this was DeSantis’ pet project of what happens when you eradicate woke or whatever.

Speaking as someone who works everyday with people who rely on Advantage plans to cover their care… they’re not great. The way they’re advertised is a borderline scam and people often have to go through multiple layers of appeals to fully utilize their benefits which they conveniently do not emphasize with their advertising
Yep.

This is a challenge for Democrats. Pretty sure I saw some post-elex analysis of a significant chunk of voters who stated they simply didn’t believe big changes they don’t like (e.g. overturning Roe and new abortion restrictions cropping up nationwide) were Trump’s fault even though it’s a straight line from his SCOTUS judges to that decision.

They’re going to have to get better at showing a cause and effect because lots of people clearly don’t get it now. Folks clearly think he’s for the working class despite appointing anti-labor judges and him and Elon getting ready to go bust some unions.

A Trump-appointed judge just struck down a Biden rule expanding overtime pay to 4 million working people.

It's really surprising how little media coverage this has received. Trump faced no real questions about this issue during the campaign. 1/

So is does RFK fit into the opportunist, spineless, coward or bootlicker camp? Because he wound up siding with Trump too. So unless you suppose he’s one of the belligerent idiot nationalist, he wound up describing himself.

His brain is fried from drugs. He can’t put two coherent thoughts together and articulate them accurately.

He doesn’t know, so I don’t.

They are a necessary evil.
Americans are dramatically under-taxed. Taxes also suck.

Americans that paid attention to the news voted for Harris, those that don't voted overwhelming for Trump.

In addition, how Americans consume news matters. Most get their news from Facebook or Tik Tok, so I'm not really sure what Democrats can do to in order to inform a public actively avoiding information.

We're just a slave to misinformed voters that will vote based on vibes and if nacho cheese is expensive or not. Talking to the public is a lot like talking to Patrick Star, it's difficult to get through.

I mean, education has been just fine in the country for the last 75 years.  The only things that need changing is coding needs to be considered a foreign language.  Foreign languages need to be taught sooner in schools and more trades need to be offered/taught.

Oh and MAYBE cursive doesn't really need to be taught anymore BUT the idea of kids in 3rd grade crying while their parents force them to write the Z again is pretty comical.
