Great news we are still considered a Blue Blood, but........

Yes, we are still considered a Blue Blood program one of 8.  Nebraska, OU, Texas, Alabama, USC, Ohio St, Notre Dame, and Michigan are those programs.  Great company.  We also happen to be the leader of the Blue Bloods when it comes to worst decade....No bueno.  Hoping we start to turn this around tomorrow.  7 other programs have....There's hope.

Bama had 4 coaches until Saban

USC  had 4 coaches until Carroll

Texas had 4 coaches until Sark

ND had 4 coaches until Kelly

Michigan 3 before Harbaugh

OU had 4 until Stoops

Looks like we are do.  We are on our 3rd coach....Within the decade of change.

In addition to those noteworthy factoids, I am certain that I cannot be the only one who at first thought that guy was singing Heyyy Pizza instead of Re-e-ed Kingdom.   The rest of the words still sound like a guy trying to fast talk his way out of after school detention, so they were not helpful.

BYU is in the top 10 for # of games won since 1970.

Think about that for a minute.

Do you or anyone consider BYU as Blue Blood?

Nebraska hasn't done much of anything significant from 2000-2024.

They haven't been in a conference historically, then minor ones, then two years in a big one.  You can't compare schedules.

Here's data from 2020, and one of these things is not like the others...

Long story short, they didn't play anyone in 50 years.  One major bowl.

The goal is Nebraska not become Minnesota.  People look at the school as an old relic because the title contending teams were 60-100 years ago.
I hate to break it to you but we already have one foot in the old relic category.  Kids in college today have witnessed just as many losing seasons as winning seasons of Nebraska football and the winning seasons topped out at a fringe top 25 ranking, at best.

for anyone not a husker fan and younger than the age of 30 we’re near irrelevant in CFB
