Agreed, the single digit bs needs to be kicked to the curb. Zero point in recognizing team leaders when all we’ve seen is a losing performance.
to the other posters wanting to tear s#!t down, let’s at least wait to see what happens with Dana. To expect him to turn s#!t water into wine, by himself, with none of his own staff and players within a month mid season is just unrealistic. If we retain him, the majority of this offensive staff and supporting analysts will look very different. He will also have an opportunity to get skill guys that better fits his system. We saw again tonight raiola was hesitant to just hit the safety valve hb flat pass like he did against wiscy, and it cost us. A full off-season for Dana to work with him should pay dividends and help undo the complete disservice shatterfield inflicted on us this whole season.
our special teams cannot play any worse than they did tonight. We need to pay for a punter and, I never thought I’d say this, but a f’n long snapper too. There are teams that go a full season without snapping on kicking opps being an issue, we can barely go 2 games without it f#&%ing us over. A change in staff should be a foregone conclusion.
today f#&%ing sucked, one of the most “winnable” games we choked away for sure. But let’s also not forget we put too much on the shoulders of a true freshman qb for most of the year and it did this team and the fans base a complete disservice. Rhule has seen firsthand how he f#&%ed up with satt and the quick dividends that Dana delivered, he now needs to be equally as ruthless to address special teams.
it’s also worth mentioning that whoever is leading our transfer portal decision and recruitment deserves to be reevaluated. Simms completely sank year 1. Our receivers were a complete dud in year 2. Rhule simply cannot afford to f’n whiff a 3rd year getting guys who can contribute immediately
