Pinstripe Bowl

While the 2024 season was disappointing, Nebraska fans should welcome a bowl wherever its held.  And we should also demand a 9-win season in year 3 of Rhule especially given it appears to be one of the easier schedules we have had in a long time. We don't play Oregon or Ohio State and our toughest non-conference opponent is Cincy.

 
My oldest lives in Vegas.  We are headed there for Christmas.  If I was in Cleveland, I would drive to this baby.  It will be fun.  NYC and all, it would be fun.

Unfortunately there’s a certain subset of fan that is going to complain no matter where they go if Nebraska isn’t playing for the NC. 
 

Add in certain fans that are doubly having issues because of the political leanings of the state and city, and it makes me wonder if Trev should have just pulled a UNO and axed the football program when he was here? 🤷‍♂️

Iowa meltdown, ucla no show, a complete no show against Indiana and a pedestrian October against a not good Purdue and Rutgers team was a letdown.

but I am happy I get a husker game to tune into during the holidays! If players want a warm weather bowl then perhaps they shouldn’t keep s#!tting the bed.

It’s not the destination. It’s that I hate seeing the program act like this is an accomplishment. The Pinstripe Bowl is not an accomplishment. It’s for mediocrity. We should feel embarrassed.

We’ve had 3 meaningful defensive players enter the portal- 2 starters and a young player who played all of 1 snap against Iowa.

Who might play? Almost the same players as every game

I think a couple posters need a reality check of exactly where this program has been for the last ten years. If you can’t find the slightest bit of joy at finally making a bowl game for the first time in 7 years, you’re kind of miserable and need to become interested in something that doesn’t only cause you to piss and moan.

There is nothing to be pleased about lol. Congrats on barely squeezing your way into a bowl for losers, Nebraska, what a huge moment lol.
