Here’s what Chat GPT says about Nashville. So maybe I typed in roast NashvilleI'm saying if you think Nash is themed then all you did was the themed touristy stuff, akin to going to bourbon street and not seeing the real New Orleans. If you went to NOLA and only hit Bourbon you might have a crap view of NOLA. Also you literally said Nash was MORE expensive than New York. Not just expensive which is flat out untrue. None of it matters but I just think Nashville is a cool spot and not that expensive and don't really understand why it had to catch a stray for you to make your point about New York. I think most sensible people would agree New York is a cooler visit overall budgets aside. Really would love to go and do a bar tour there as I'm big into craft cocktails and New York has some of the best spots for that in the world.
I had no desire to visit NYC, but it was actually one of my favorite place I've been around the world, other than the fact that the subway smells like literal s#!t in the summer. It is not cheap though...How did this turn into a NYC vs Nashville thread? I’ve been to Nashville, it was fine, pretty much as expected and didn’t seem overly expensive to me. And NYC is about the last place on earth I have any desire to ever visit. I’ve been to a few large east coast cities, too many people and too much traffic. No thanks. I perused the hotel options for the bowl game. There is absolutely no way NYC isn’t at least 3-4x as expensive as Nashville. You’re talking $600 to $800 a night on the low end but that won’t be a problem because there are no rooms available within 40 miles.
I hope some of you go and enjoy it. As for me, I’ll watch on TV and save a few thousand $.

Especially during the Christmas season. And reservations for food at a good place are gonna be hard to come by for a decent time of day if you don’t start looking now.Thank you! This is what I was trying to tell him. Saying New York City is cheaper than Nashville is straight gaslighting. Everyone knows that's not true.
Odd... I've spent a lot of time in NYC and I've always found the subway to smell more like gyro meat and urine...I had no desire to visit NYC, but it was actually one of my favorite place I've been around the world, other than the fact that the subway smells like literal s#!t in the summer. You must havea more refined sniffer than me.Odd... I've spent a lot of time in NYC and I've always found the subway to smell more like gyro meat and urine...
There is a husker bar around the Time Square area. We were going to for the Rutgers game, but then the Yankees game was at the same time. I got the impressed it’s owned by real Nebraskans.Especially during the Christmas season. NYC is fun to visit, would suck to live there though. But if you are gonna visit, bite the bullet and go between Thanksgiving and New Years. Just be prepared to spend money and lots of it. I’ll try and post some food and bar recommendations soon for anyone going.
Ah- the sweet smell of vibeOdd... I've spent a lot of time in NYC and I've always found the subway to smell more like gyro meat and urine...
That's absolutely hilarious :lol:Here’s what Chat GPT says about Nashville. So maybe I typed in roast Nashville
Nashville? Oh, you mean the city that can’t decide if it’s a trendy hipster haven or just a honky-tonk fever dream? Where everyone’s either trying to make it big in country music or pretending they’ve never heard a Luke Bryan song? Let’s not forget the traffic—because who doesn’t love a half-hour detour just to cross the river?
And Broadway… it’s like Mardi Gras had a baby with a boot factory. Every bachelorette party from here to eternity is riding a pedal tavern, screaming “Wagon Wheel” like it’s the national anthem.
Even the hot chicken is like Nashville itself: looks cool, burns your mouth, and leaves you questioning your choices.
