Fwiw sometimes that stuff isn’t for us fans but for agents, other coaches, etc. It’s like when Moos said he had a bunch of interest when we all knew he had to hire Frost or leave town. But you give Frost’s agent all the leverage and more if you come out and say that lol. Making the hiring process sound competitive and like Butler rose above the other candidates helps bring us better position coaching candidates, analysts, that kind of thing. But I do understand your point.

 
I will say. The butler hire doesn’t get me super enthused but Rhule has hired two former DCs to help out there. He is at least giving him coaching pieces to help rely on.
