Who's Leaving? 2024/25 version

I know your not but according to his bio he went to state in wrestling.  It appears like he is a late bloomer as he has put 50+ since his Jr. of HS.  He probably needs another year.  Regardless, hope he is ready to go soon.
Meant to say… provide my insight, not prove… lol… I am an idiot. Yes, hopefully he comes along much more quickly than I predict

@SouthLincoln Husker @HANC - excellent discussion.  I love O-line talk.  Can never have enough of it.  There are a lot of questions, spots to fill, depth to figure out, possible portal help, and former HS studs trying to develop, stay on the pine, or transfer.  O-line is the best thing to talk about, because we all know it is the most important part of a football team (unless you have a super-talented QB that can make teams better by himself).

Taumua was coming off a knee injury correct?

Correct & I factored that into the equation.  Seriously, I doubt he could have run a sub 5.6 and would prob struggle playing an entire series reminiscent of Daniels & Hutmacher earlier in their careers.  He was running 10+ yards behind the entire O-Line group in sideline-to-sideline wind sprints.  That's a little north of 50 yards.

On the bright side of things, he has a full off-season to get right and get his conditioning up.

Know it was brought up in one of the chats- and was a question I had- but 247 says the bowl game will be Javin Wright's last as a Husker. Whether that makes it official... very much unsure. Another one I was uncertain about was Corcoran- whether he'll return or not. (Guess same could be said of Teddy Pro. with all the injuries.) That makes the McCullough get gigantic, if Wright is in fact done.

We all knew he was done and Rhule confirmed he had left the team after Iowa, but he did have a medical year left if he wanted.

I changed the walk-ons to green because I usually put the new additions in red (incoming transfers).

By my count, there are 46 walk-ons.  If all those guys are not on the roster this fall, we would be at 93 as of right now.  Several of them will likely still be here - Nelson, Bonner, Lindenmeyer, Seagren, Hoffken, Ottomanelli, Koch, Hohl would be a few.  That would be  101.  There will probably be a few more that leave after the bowl game.  And a few more incoming.  But we're in the range of where we need to be.

Great work, Mav. Are we sure Bonner is walk-on? Never heard that before.

A couple of interesting questions. Do you carry three kickers on your 105? Do you keep a player like Hoffken who is a complete project?

I have 103, but added Markway & Bullock

There will be several changes after the bowl.

You're right.  I don't know why I had that wrong.

I would guess there would be three but I don't know.

I would guess Hoffken is at the top of the walk-on list because of how they brought him in.
