Given what Rhule said about him not playing in the bowl and that he’s only entered the portal at this stage, he must have thought he had a shot. We are at the stage in the offseason process where people are actually being honest with these players about their chances.
His best chance of earning a paycheck playing football is hoping some college team gives him a bag next year.
He was on the 2 deep all year and played on multiple special teams units. Seems like a guy you might want around.
Just look at his transfer ranking for a wr not good. He struggled tremendously to separate and just was very sub par here. I wish him the best of luck. I think he was good at Wyoming bc he played lesser competition.
Teams still need good backups, specials teams guys, practice bodies, longer term projects. People are really over doing it with the portal, the cut to 105 and being able to develop players.
He and banks didn’t turn out like we thought but I don’t have any ill will for them. I don’t think this offense turned out like anyone thought. It was stagnant and poorly run. I think they ( and Fidone) have legit complaints about targets, etc

No ill feelings on my part for him. But any complaints he may have had about targets go out the window based on all the drops he had. Especially the sure TD drops. If you want more targets then make the tough catches (and the easy ones for TD’s)
Fidone body cost whatever chance he did have. With a college degree he might end up better off though. His extended family seems like they were waiting with both hands out for that nfl money
