Nebrasketball @ Iowa

Huskers are 3.5 point underdogs with an over/under of 159.5.  ESPN gives them a 47.9% chance to win.

Mast is out.  Everyone else should be available.

Go Big Red!

Nebraska is a physical team that plays good defense and makes free throws.  That's a recipe for winning on the road in the Big Ten.

Nebraska is 3rd in the B1G in Free throw percentage.  Iowa is 16th.

Nebraska is 3rd in the B1G on defense giving up 64.6.  Iowa is dead last giving up 77.1.

I like our chances.

Iowa has played a style that allows them to score a lot but also give up a lot of points for the entire time that Fran McCaffrey has been there.  If a team can slow them down, they have a good chance to win because Iowa doesn't play much defense no matter how much they are scoring.

Yep, they are #1 in points scored at 89.4.  Nebraska is 13th at 76.9.  That's what could tip the game their way.

MSU is averaging 81.1 and we allowed 89.  That was bad.

Indiana is averaging 78.9 and we allowed 68.

UCLA is averaging 76 and we allowed 58.

Hopefully, MSU continues to be the outlier.

Those are some really good points.  I like our chances.  3 pt spread is basically a pick'em or anyone's game to win.  A few big plays could also completely change the game.  That's why FT and critical Def could help us here.

Same !!!  Huskers should go into game with momentum and quiet confidence from beating UCLA.

I'm so glad I get to watch because I have had Peacock for 3 years.
Don't have Peacock, but will be following along on my ESPN app.

Nice.  But, you get to enjoy the action live in person when the Huskers play at home.  I think that is awesome and I would too.  But Lincoln is 600 miles from me.  It's not ever gonna happen.

Last year the only game(s) they had on Peacock were home games so I was at them & it didn't matter.  This year it's the exact opposite.

You could come to a weekend game.  They somehow only have one Saturday home game left & it's against Minnesota.

Too far.  I enjoy going to UNT (North Texas) for hoops a few times a year ("The Pit"). Hot dog, popcorn, iced coke and it's fun.  HS hoops also has a ton of talent in Dallas and FW.
