If he was 2 for 6, I'd say he missed 4.How many free throws have Worster missed night, I think he 2 for 6.

He was actually 2 for 7. Regardless, he us terrible. There is no flow in the offense when he plays. If he was 2 for 6, I'd say he missed 4.
He got some buckets tonight but I can't trust his decision making at crunch time; but for a 5 yr point guard to be that inconsistent at free throws is really troubling. If he was 2 for 6, I'd say he missed 4.
You said 2 for 6. I was just using your math. I'm only as good as the information provided. He was actually 2 for 7. Regardless, he us terrible. There is no flow in the offense when he plays.
That was a big time clutch bucket to send it to OT. Even though he traveled twice lol.Are you s#!tting me, Williams ties the game.
We had far bigger problems than Worsters performance lol we play a style of defense that requires teams to knock down 3s. And we give up a ton of open 3s in every game. Iowa scores the ball well and moves the ball well offensively. That's why they beat us so GD always...it's not rocket science or a point guard. It's just a bad match up.He got some buckets tonight but I can't trust his decision making at crunch time; but for a 5 yr point guard to be that inconsistent at free throws is really troubling.

Radio announcers stated that we were slow on close outs & had issues with switching. We've lost 10 of our last 11 to Iowa at carver. Let's blame worster for those too.
I think it was a couple things.Free throws were bad tonight.
But, we lost this game on defense. They were averaging 89 points per game. We were on pace to hold them to 62 at half. They scored 45 in the second and 21 in OT. That can’t happen!!!
That's our defense though. If the O skips quickly to the opposite corner it's 100% of the time a wide open 3. That's the weakness. Hit those and we're screwed. Iowa shoots and passes/moves very well.I think it was a couple things.
Huskers couldn't hit their free throws.
Questionable Coaching decisions - Because nobody told Gary to stop driving and stop shooting. He was 5-20 near the end. He clearly struggled often inside and outside. And it cost the team possessions. Also, Iowa couldn't miss a free throw (congrats to them) and we just kept giving them free points down the stretch and in OT by sending them to the line. Those 3 things really stood out to me. I don't think rotation was good.
Also think the Huskers PG doesn't do anything for this team other than bring the ball down the court, and throw up prayer shot layups attempts driving to the basket, and also bricks from outside. He is not good.
Ok….he shot 66% tonight from the field and only one of those was from 3.I think it was a couple things.

That's the problem. He just dribbles & gives us no offensive flow. He gets at most 2 assists a game.Ok….he shot 66% tonight from the field and only one of those was from 3.
Our offense needs to figure out how to get Essegian open shots. Now, that could be in part because of him. But, when he drove, I don’t remember Essegian being wide open. Teams have started guarding him tight. Could be an indication that he needs to move better without the ball.
I counted 7 straight possessions that Connor didn't touch the ball, and a few that he gave the ball right back to Wurster. The offense seemed like a 2 man game up high (Wurster and Gary or Wurster and Williams) with a big helping them with screens, and those are the guys who forced a lot of shots. Some of them went in. Often it was backyard ball driving and chucking it up inside. The ball movement wasn't clean. And off-the ball players didn't do much to help out. Despite my heavy criticsm, I still think NU let this game slip away. And Iowa got hot from outside, played well defensively inside, and made their FTs.Ok….he shot 66% tonight from the field and only one of those was from 3.
