And the ballyhooed Infrastructure Investment announcement turned out to be $500 BILLION aimed at fostering Ai, which requires a massive amount of power generation that may have nothing to do with heating our homes, propelling our vehicles, or reducing our dependence on foreign oil.

If only a dedicated gumshoe could find a way to link the actions of the President to the billionaire investors in Ai......

The recent announcement of a $500 billion infrastructure investment aimed at fostering AI development has sparked significant debate. While the potential advancements in AI technology are undeniably exciting, concerns have been raised about the allocation of such a substantial sum. Critics argue that this investment may not directly address pressing issues like home heating, transportation, or reducing dependence on foreign oil. Instead, it focuses on an industry that demands enormous amounts of energy, potentially straining existing power grids without clear benefits for everyday citizens. This has led to questions about whether this initiative aligns with the broader needs of the population or serves more specialized interests.

The suggestion of a connection between the President’s actions and billionaire investors in AI adds another layer of intrigue to the discussion. If such a link were to be uncovered, it could raise serious questions about the motivations behind this massive investment. A dedicated investigator might find it worthwhile to explore whether this decision prioritizes the interests of a few over the needs of the many. While AI development holds promise for the future, ensuring transparency and accountability in how public funds are spent is crucial to maintaining public trust. This situation underscores the importance of scrutinizing how government initiatives align with both national priorities and the greater good.

Are you to the point of just making s#!t up now? No, it was not “shown” to me before. Well I suppose in your mind you think you proved some point, but you didn’t.

Let’s try this, how much steel do you buy yearly? I purchase steel pretty much every week. Yet you’re going to tell me what steel prices did or didn’t, will or won’t do?
I could be wrong, but the mass increase seems to have happened in 2021,2022?    And yes, we did have this conversation before

what the flock would you know about steel prices.   Trump (all hail Trump) has said that his tariffs don't raise prices so you better stop that woke bovine scatology that tariffs raised prices.  trumps enforcer of truth is here trying to correct us all when we stray from trumps truths so you better listen or you will end up in double secret probation

I know it was discussed before. I’m disputing that you proved anything with your take or links.

You can post links to all the data and studies you want and it won’t change my mind. I buy steel regularly and I know what the prices did when the tariffs were implemented and in effect. You can consider it anecdotal if you wish but it doesn’t get any more real for my business than the prices I saw and the money I spent.

Maybe you got hosed by your supplier or misremembered the price of steel in mid-2018,2019 and confused it with 2021, 2022.  Not sure what to tell ya, unless I’m not showing you the correct price of steel timelines🤷‍♂️.  But you didn’t dispute the price so I assume I am.

I didn’t even look at your f#&%in link. It and your opinion means absolutely nothing to me on this subject. Believe what you want, act like you “won”, IDGAF because I know what I know and you don’t know.

I know!

It’s not really my opinion, it’s a fact based chart from STLFed👍

Ok, LOL. You can go by what you “remember” and I’ll go by the historical price chart and leave it at that.

Geesh.  U still are salty about getting proven wrong with a quick google trend search😂

Go back and read my original post. You didn't disprove a thing. And you know that.

Trapped like a rabid weasel, finding no other source to make your case, you created a desperately lame Google Trend chart and pretended it superseded reams of professional study on the larger subject that the adults in the room were discussing.

Geesh.

i love it when the guy with a google search tells you what your business went through and ignores you...the owner of the business and tells you how wrong you are.

Go back and read my original post
Why? To reiterate why you were so off base?   Waste of my time imo

you created a desperately lame Google Trend chart
Well actually I didn’t create it.  I did a search and Google Trends created the data which demolished your point.   Sadly for you.

the adults in the room were discussing.
Well yeah I know.  I ended being the lead expert of said discussion. 👍   Trying to help you along.

Sounds like Ai has become so advanced it can recognize blatant motives standing right in front of us.

Love how Ai calls it "intrigue" to avoid being judgmental.

This is exactly what a rabid weasel would say.

Well again….the raw price is the raw process shown by, check notes…..yep…..STLFed.  If some other issue affected his pricing then that’s a different discussion.   Or if he misremembered.   Or YOU could show us the price of steel during that time period using a DuckDuckGo search or yahoo or encyclopedia or wherever else you use to get information.  We will anxiously be waiting YOUR results.
