Nebrasketball vs Ohio State

We were up 29-25 when Worster went to the bench with 4:39 to play in the half.  Got outscored 11-5 in the last four minutes.
We are not watching the same game.  As we were up 10 or 11 when he came in for Gary  & it was Brice taking over the point that took us on that run.  He is lazy, does not move without the ball & just lazy at times.

Was a good win and keep the momentum going.

Neither team was doing anything special to separate themselves.  It was close throughout, and mostly sluggish for a Sunday afternoon bball game.  And then Brice started to make a few drives, got hot, took over and the Huskers took advantage of their free-throw opportunities being in the bonus.  Glad it was a home game.

And Worster isn't great, but he doesn't suck.  Or should I say, he's an older guy at PG doing his best.  That 3 was shocking - and awesome to see.  Maybe give the young man a break.  You already know how he plays and what he can and cannot do.  Just be more positive when he's playing.  Even though it can be frustrating at times.  :)

Not pit-picking when it happens a lot

I'm sure you see it "happen" a lot.  But you're apparently not paying any attention to why it's "happening."

We often dribble out front for an extended time.  It's not just Worster.  Williams does it as well.  Same with others.  We are often slow getting into our offense.  They are waiting for screens to be set and other movement to happen so they have someone to cut to start the offense.  That's how our offense works.

We are often "slow" to get to shooters.  It's because we are constantly double-teaming and scrambling to recover.  It's not just Worster.  It's literally everyone guarding wing players.  It's how our defense tries to operate.  When you have to try to guard two guys, it's impossible to pressure both of them like you should.  That's the trade off we're making.  Blame the coaches for how it looks.
