I assume this is when a protest isn’t covered under the first amendment and what’s trying to be avoided.  I’m not necessarily agreeing with his take on things, but something does need to be done to avoid more pro-hammy type protests on college campuses.

I'm sure the GOP-led federal government will be eager and glad to make sure that schools, and students who are peacefully and legally protesting, won't suffer unjust punishment due to some rogue fringe opportunists.

We've all seen their ability to wisely discern the differences with their history of refusing to paint Black Lives Matter protests as inherently violent riots.

We've all seen their ability to wisely discern the differences with their history of refusing to paint Black Lives Matter protests as inherently violent riots.

Again, I am all for protesting but if you take over a college building or if you block students from getting to class you should be mocked and smacked.  

Protest all you want on the student union grass where people can still walk freely to class.  They can still see you and hear you, but they can also get to class.
