2025 Spring Practice Notes

Yeah, and maybe a skills competition like what the NBA used to do.  You could team up a volleyball player with a football player for attempting a FG, throwing the football or serving the volleyball into a target down the field that is worth a few points or rewards.

 
I hate to sound like a whoebegone Husker fan- I still get excited when the spring game is on TV and I get to see players I have only heard about in recruiting articles or from talking heads saying so&so has been a monster in the weight room. Sometimes these players become starters or significant contributors, sometimes not. However you actually get to see them in action and helps to familiarize for once the season rolls around. 

I don't want to see a bunch of football players playing softball or other stupid s#!t and I certainly don't want one of the limited # of spring practices wasted on tiddly winks. 

Now get away from me before I flick some of my crust on to you.

Well, there goes our record undefeated in spring games.....Next thing will be we lose the off season.  Come on Rhule WTH :D :D

I do like the idea of a skills competition.  With our luck even flag football could get guys hurt.  Maybe a large scale meet and greet (I know we already do) with a concert, food trucks, other team sports etc....Something to signify the end of spring.

They could have players shoot hot dogs out of the cannon a toss shirts and 40,000 would show up.

Figure out a way to make it fun.  Put on a show.  Do some skills, entertainment & prizes.  Maybe some Savanah Banana type humor.  Gotta have the volleyball chicks there.

I might go if they do something fun.  I haven’t gone forever.

I read they talked about not having anything new on film with the new staff....That and injuries.
