Received this email from Dr. Tom this morning based off the email i sent him last week. Thought i'd share

Dear Jeff,

Thank you for your note.

As I said when I took this job, I will evaluate the football program

and

coaching staff at the end of the season. The decisions that are made

will be in the best interests of the football program, the state, and

the University of Nebraska.

I do appreciate your passion for Nebraska Football, and your support

for

the program. As I am evaluating things, I will keep your

recommendations in mind.

i would think the order of priority in his decision making process would be football program, U and then state...but that's just me. no doubt it is authentic..........and correct like all the posts here. :thumbs

It's a form letter someone else had the same exact letter on this forum. I think it was Wally but not sure.

I recommended that we get back to the blackshirt tradition of having a strong defense...therefore i suggested that Coach Pelini was the man for the job...

I also stated that i trusted his decision in whatever he did..but in my humble opinion a change needed to be made as Coach Callahan has shown disrespect to the program, Dr. Tom and our tradition in the way he has acted this year.

I received a written letter signed by Tom. I'm sure the signature is authentic because I have a letter he sent to me in the 90's that looks like the same person signed it.

Anyway, my written letter was completely different than this email reply although I have no doubt that people are receiving patched together form responses. At least I hope Tom isn't spending all of his time writing personal letters to everyone who contacts him.
