Israel - Iran War

I know not with what weapons WW3 will be fought, but WW4 will be fought with sticks and stones - Albert Einstein

This war will make Iraq look like childs play. And unlike Iraq, Iran has very powerful allies that will get involved as soon as their national interests come under attack. Buckle up.
I don’t buy this. Proxy groups yes. I would rather us take on a government than a militia or ideology. China is not ready for a direct confrontation with the United States. Russia is too bogged up in Ukraine. They are no longer relying on Iran to procure drones or munitions. They are manufacturing them in-house now. North Korea is also a huge supplier of artillery and shells for the ruskies. My general thought: They don’t have the means.

now…Creating a black hole in Iran for which future groups could sprout from..absolutely. Terror attacks inside the United States could also be a possibility.

Potential positives: the death of the Iranian government could also severely limit the effectiveness of its proxy groups. No more money and munitions. Bad news for Hamas, Hezbollah, & the Houthi’s.

Nervous but interested to see where this leaves the Middle East.

China owns a ton of our debt. They have the best hackers in the world. A cyber attack would bring us to our knees. They dont even need to fire a shot.

Second behind Japan in buying up our debt. China needs the United States. China is not coming to the defense of Iran. Supplying aid..sure. I suppose they could try theoretically but why now? And if they don’t get us 100% out they are toast after. China is at least 2 years away from being able to take a small island just off their own coast. China could very well be a paper tiger as well. Untested equipment, tactics, & military overall.

If we defaulted on debt….China would be f#&%ed.    And they know it.

No way would an impulsive, fragile ego got in the way of national security.   We were told here that personality flaws don't matter, just policy.  Well until personality flaws influence whatever policy of the moment that might be.

"A couple of years ago, Robert Malley, the then-special envoy for Iran, told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that after Trump’s decision, Iranian attacks on U.S. personnel in the region got worse, Iranian support for regional proxies got worse, and the pace of the Iranians’ nuclear research program got “much worse.”"

"How Trump arrived at his decision adds insult to injury. One of my favorite stories about the Iran deal came a few months into Trump’s term in the White House, when the president held a lengthy meeting with top members of his team: Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Defense Secretary James Mattis, White House National Security Adviser H. R. McMaster and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph Dunford. Each of the officials reportedly told Trump the same thing: It was in the United States’ interest to preserve the JCPOA policy."

"The Republican expected his team to tell him how to get out of the international agreement, not how to stick with it. When his own foreign policy and national security advisers told him the policy was working, Trump reportedly “had a bit of a meltdown.”

"Soon after, he abandoned the JCPOA anyway — not because it was failing, but because Trump was indifferent to its success."

"All Trump had to do was nothing. He could’ve simply left the policy alone and allowed it to keep working. He instead did the opposite. The Republican was convinced his strategy would work — he even boasted at one point during his term that he was prepared to be Iran’s “best friend” — but the entire gambit backfired."

Too bad we never had a deal in place where Iran's enriched uranium stockpiles were under IAEA monitoring and were close to zero.  I wonder what happened to that deal.

This is what happens when the electorate doesn't understand the world that extends beyond their mailbox. Trump and the voters who enable him are dangerously stupid.

Woah, this isn't completely fair. He's not just any 22 year old, he has an extensive background bagging groceries.
