I can't access the moderator function to delete those threads and ban those members yet. Sent an email to the programmer asking for that. Also, Mavric and other moderators can't delete them as well.

The first week-ish of a site upgrade is always pretty bumpy.

Does the ad-free option work yet? I clicked the link and it took me to PayPal, but I'm not going to pay until we get confirmation it's working.

No, it's not working. Until the programmer sets me up as an administrator, I won't be able to set it up and my connection there is on vacation until the 30th so it will be sometime in July before it gets activated.

I couldn't even access the site. But I could access the admin back-end. I had to enable a bunch of permissions for the Admin group. I haven't gotten to the Mods yet. So you may have more permissions now.

I'm assuming there are still adjustments that need to be made. For instance, tweets aren't showing up.

I'll note that Xenforo handles that stuff a little differently. Tweets won't automatically load in the post box, but will show up after you hit Post. Also, you won't be able to post an image just by copying & pasting the URL into the post box anymore, you have to use the Insert Image button, then click on By URL and paste the image link in there.

Also who had the bright idea to let guests start threads? Please for the love of god go look at how many threads there are with spam now.

They can't.

The Xenforo software, to encourage registrations, allows filling out a post without registering. At that point, the person has committed time to making a post - Xenforo then tells them it needs registration information to complete the thread post. There's not going to be any posts by non-registered users.

I noticed they were all duplicated. I tried disabling the duplicates but perhaps there is something else that needs to be done.

Did you make me a mod finally?

I tried. But the new Board gave me the message "This will permanently delete your account and you will be reported to Iranian authorities." So I didn't go through with it.
