I like Rhule's response to the Frost comments. I imagine Rhule has been messaged non-stop for some kind of response and he's probably tired of it.

Hopefully we can back that comment up with a good to great season and put the Frost soap opera behind us.

I think he was open and honest. Really, I am guessing most of us have "taken the wrong job" before...

Trust me, I get it "But the money" and I totally agree that plays a huge part in it but still, taking the wrong job is still a very real thing.
 
I get Rhule's comments and appreciate his efforts to put this to bed but I disagree with the terminology. Nebraska has always been a good job for a coach. It is just more challenging than some other places so not everyone is capable.

I agree with this. The issue is that Frost didn't do what was needed to turn the program around. Rhule has taken many steps to do that and we have seen some improvement. Now, let's hope he gets the job done.

Maybe, there is no "blue print" that just automatically works.

If there was, Saban would not have been lame at MSU.
 
Rhule is a good politician. He simultaneously extinguished the fire that Frost started with his dumb comment and subtly painted himself as the savior of the program.

It was done skillfully.

Rhule is a pro. Hopefully Frost can put his ego aside and learn from how Rhule handled the situation.

I’m not holding my breath…
