Hulkster RIP

Such a good point! He really did!

I know there were guys before him but he was like the first household name.
Don’t go dissing The Claw-Baron Von Raschke or Stan Pulaski. I just won’t stand for it. There were a few others before Hulk Hogan. But Hulk definitely was bigger than them.

Ha!

I know you are way older but I am trying to think of the first stars of wrestling.

Hulk
Road warriors
Andre the Giant
Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Junkyard Dog
Ultimate Warrior (a little later)

Had to put the “way” in there didn’t ya. Díck 🤣

I wasn’t ever super into wrestling but I do remember going to All Star wrestling in Columbus, prob mid 70s, would’ve been 10-12yo. Stan Pulaski and Reggie Parks were the big names at that one. I also remember they had a midget tag team match. Only midget name I remember was Little Lord Flauntleroy. They spent most of their time pulling hairs out of the other guy’s legs. Ha.

Then around 2005 took my son to a WWF event in Loveland. Triple H, Cena, Mysterio….can’t remember who else. We were into some wrestling Play Station game at the time and Triple H was my guy. It was actually a lot of fun and entertaining for a fake deal.

Hahah!

Stan Pulaski??

Hahaha, Come on, you are just making up names!

Macho man
Sargeant slaughter
Jake the snake Roberts
Lex luger
Ric Flair
Razor Ramon
Sting
Andre the Giant

Are some of my early faves.

Sting will always be my favorite. He was still pulling off crazy stunts just a couple years ago as a 64-year-old man. A lot of wrestlers don't even live that long.
