Rhule finally feels like the "right coach" for Nebraska

I mean ... I think that's an assumption on your part. Unless you talked to all the voters.

But even if it's true, he was rewarded for being somewhat above average - not bad enough to get fired but not good enough to win a conference championship nor get a better job. So .... lifetime achievement as opposed to doing something remarkable.

Then we agree he shouldn't have been fired.

I love that it is okay for us fans to rip on the coaches, rip on players, rip on refs, rip on the AD and so on...but when a coach or player does it...those guys "lack leadership and maturity"

Classic.
I think most people can see the difference between a professional coach paid millions to be the face of a university and program, and a random fan on the internet.

Yeah, the difference is one literally has no pressure/stress at all when it comes to huskers...yet those people STILL lose their minds, say horrible things, post nasty crap and rip on players/coaches/AD's...

While the players and coaches are supposed to just sit there and take it at all times.

I see the difference.

We are all going to die. Science has told us that.

But honestly, you should care about that homeless person, first, you should not be calling them "homeless" that is not kind and secondly, you should be helping them.

Shrooms? Percocet? Paint thinner?

It's not like the bar for you is very high, but you're getting awful dark and meandering today. I can almost hear you slurring while you type.

I am not advocating for poor behavior from fans, but yes, when you're the head coach and can't keep any semblance of control and embarrass your university repeatedly, it's clearly a problem that UNL should not tolerate.

See...this is my point.

This is literally stress free and you are having a hard time being nice and polite.

Yet when it comes to Bo, you were mad that he yelled at a ref.

But the answer was Paint Thinner :).

I found a really nice year over at Home Depot, it is very very choice. I do find that the type of cloth that I inhale it from can impact my mood.

Like for instance, TO hiding a gun for a player and TO letting Phillips back on the team after climbing up the side of an apartment so that he could proceed to beat the hell out of a young girl?

Is that the type of embarrassment you are talking about out?

Or is that stuff not as bad as Bo yelling at some refs?

I am not as bright as most posters, so which one of those things is embarrassing to the U?

I know it will be challenging, but try to stay on a single topic rather than slinging all sorts of random crap against the wall to defend an indefensible position.

Bo was an embarrassment to UNL and I'm glad he got fired.

And there we have it!

It would have been easier to just say "I didn't like Bo but I would have liked him if he won 1-2 more games each year, but since he didn't, he was an embarrassment"

But thank you for sort of admitting it.

I am not defending Bo, I don't care that he yelled at refs, I don't care that he hated Eichorst and called him a pu&&y, I don't care that he thought the fans were dorks.

Don't misrepresent what I said or try to put words in my mouth. You're bad at it.

It was an improved record from the year before and there was momentum in recruiting. He should have been given more time after hiring a new staff. If he hadn't done that, I would have no problem with him being fired.

There was improvement from the 50,000-foot view of only looking at the win-loss record. I'm not all that convinced that there was any improvement as far as having a better football team.
