Sellout Streak in 2025

Probably close enough that it will continue. But they definitely have a lot more trouble unloading the last few in recent years.

Also a reason to reduce capacity by changing from benches to seats.

As far as I know, the Michigan game is the only sellout this year right now.

The Athletic Department just sent out an email saying there are "less than" 750 tickets still available for Akron.

The department sure, but any knowledgeable college football fan doesn't think much of it when they see the empty seats.
We know boosters have bought plenty of seats through the years to keep it going but no other school has that kind of support. And, it isn't like we are talking about 1000s of open seats. Some people buy tickets and end up not going- that happens everywhere.

Why is it that virtually everything you post is negative. Are you a closet CU fan?

Because this program has been very disappointing for a decade now and really about 25 years, lol. Goodness, I was even optimistic and said we'll go 10-3 this season with a bowl win, that'd be our best record since 2001.

I've taken a lot of pride in the sellout streak since I was a kid in the BobFather days when it began.

I remember going to games as a kid with my friends and the gates would swing open to just walk in free at halftime, and sometimes before. Us kids could always find empty seats.

Then the sellout streak began and the gates stopped opening up. Bummer for us kids but LONG LIVE THE SELLOUT STREAK! 😎

Not a fan, hollow accomplishment over the last few years!
Meh, I get that sentiment but once it stops, it will likely never return. The motivation to pull out all the stops to keep it going goes away. I guarantee that every single school in America would like to have our "hollow accomplishment". That support is one of the biggest driving factors keeping us in the running for a return to glory.

yep. All these fans don't know what they have. How on earth can anyone say it's a "hollow accomplishment?" It's even more of an accomplishment from the fans given the state of the program the last few decades. You can say, "oh well some of it is manufactured." Who freaking cares, other schools do it all the time. If we're close enough to a sellout where we can make up the difference then so be it. If you want to bish and moan do it about something else
