Cincinnati: What Did We Learn?

View attachment 22532

I know it's doesn't count as a win against a ranked team, but Cincinnati is better than a lot of ranked teams.
ISU scored after an interception was overturned on an absolutely absurd PI as time expired but cinci is dominating.

Will be interesting to see what voters will do next week if they continue to dominate and Nebraska wins. Cause if cinci keeps it up, they’ll be ranked.

It isn't helping our cause the way Michigan is looking today.

I bet they’ll pull ahead but Wisconsin has a tendency to play teams that they’re overmatched tough. Case in point a 3 point loss to Oregon last year followed by a 19 point L to us.

First we gotta handle our own today.

Outside of the first drive, Michigan is getting their legs under them. If Wisconsin doesn’t answer this drive this may already be out of hand.

I’m learning as each week passes that the Cincinnati victory is more than just en ehhhhhh win. They very well could be the Big XII playoff team when all is said and done

There was a reason Phil Steele had them on his ten most improved teams for 2025 list. His publication comes out last because he does a deep dive and evaluation for each team.

I think a lot of us here knew it was a good win at the time. I just found it amusing after the game with people complaining NU didn’t win by enough or win the right way or got lucky cause Cincy called a pass play.
