What did we learn?- Michigan State

Lindenmeyer was targeted once all game. Why? He is one of our most reliable players. When he is targeted, good things happen. Did Michigan st. Shut him down or did the OC forget about him?

You need have a few less drinks or go read a book on football 101. There is a primary receiver on every play. He had very few chances to get through his progression. Mich st. made an adjustment after the 1st quarter and took away the pocket. This is on Dom for not figuring this out. We have olineman here who have not developed! This is also on Dom!
Didn't have a drink at the game (not all of us are drunks). Saw what I saw. 39 yards passing through 3 qtrs. Didn"t throw the ball away, even when he could. He'll die in the NFL with that mentality. All QBs throw it away and live on for the next play.

Watch it on TV and they show you what they want. Watch it live, you can watch what you want.

Without the transfer portal, Osbourne pulls DR in the 2nd and tries something new. Might put him back in, but after he lost 30 yards on a good punt return, he should have been pulled. He could have thrown the ball away on the first play, or taken a knee then 2 runs and maybe a FG into the wind.

He scrambled outside the hashes several times and took a sack. He has the arm to toss it out of bounds past the line of scrimage.

This team found a way to win. I think the front 7 is getting better on D. We are making QB's look like crap in the passing game. I would like to know how bad the wind was from people there.

OL? Man, will DR talk to his dad and tell him Unc Donnie needs to go?

We are in the history of Husker football and maybe the CFB, a win is a win is a win. We probably lose this game in the last decade.

GBR!

If I was coaching D against Nebraska, I'd play man, blitz from different directions to pressure DR, and spy the running back. He checks down to a guy behind the line of scrimmage, so you can get a sack or loss.

He tucks the ball but doesn't run or throw it away.

He's one of our best QBs in recent years, but needs to learn as a Sophmore. Lack of dual threat makes the running game tougher. I didn't see much rolling out to move the pocket (or running to the boundary) which might have helped take pressure off the line.

I think our TE’s are spending more time at the los blocking. DR can work on his rollout skills yet. Might be some film there for him to cringe at 😁 in review this week

OMG. You are completely right. My bad. He was targeted all game then since 2 is twice as much as one.
Of course all the back seat coaches know better than the guys staking their career on the strategy for these games.

Maybe pause and relax... enjoy the season and trust the coaching staff is doing everything they can to put their best foot forward. If it was easy, I'm guessing teams like Texas and PSU wouldn't lose to teams that they are supposed to beat easily.
