Nebraska wins The Battle for NU! What did we learn????

I think it's more about the way we are winning games. We still can't stop the run and our o-line remains atrocious. Even though we won, some fans probably feel sick to their stomach because of what the Huskers put us through. Not to mention the play calling...

Yes, thats more close to reality. No Husker "fan" is upset the team won.

But maybe I'll be the first to state that what we've seen over the past 4 games (3-1 I know) won't get it done against USC, and might not get it done against the rest of the schedule, including UCLA.

LOL. That ain't it.

The women weren't the ones blowing those calls. The worst were the line judges, who were screwing Nebraska over on spotting the ball consistently. The line judge also blew the catch out of bounds on NW's last scoring drive, the one on the far sideline.

One of the big things to me even besides the missed calls on the field is that it genuinely feels like they do not want to call down review plays that would help us but as soon as we have a questionable call for us they are calling down so quick to review it. Their TD drive that tied it definitely looked like the sideline catch before the TD was not a catch. It really feels like every game in the B1G we can not buy a review but I could guarantee they were gonna call down to make sure EJ scored.

Let's keep the misogynistic takes out of the board, please. That's a raw and emotional take, not a logical one. There's no evidence to suggest the refs' genders influenced their ability to do their jobs.

Also:
Misogynistic? Does this board not have community standards anymore? I know I’ve been away for a bit.
We do - that's what the Report button is for. It's a lot more helpful than taking shots at the board.

Welcome back.

Stoked on outcome and stoked to be bowl eligible in Oct. Been a hot minute. I can’t help but feel the excitement is tainted tho. If we are finally improving and getting out of the rut…only to have our coach potentially leave, that feels like a cloud following us around. Granted, a good coach is always going to be pursued but this year is obviously different with the specific opening. Maybe it would be good for Nebraska in the long haul anyway.. who knows. What I am so sick and tired of is 15 years of suboptimal results, turnover and transitions. It’s Texasing exhausting.

I missed the 2nd half. Glad we are bowl eligible this early. Feels like a relief.
D stepped up when they needed and the O got the drive that they needed at the end. Last year we lose these kinds of games - heck last 10 years we lose these types of games. Good to see us turn the corner on these close game

Rhule to PSU talks start up again. The longer PSU delays, (yes I know it is a process) the more I think Rhule is in their back pocket.
With or without Rhule we got to retain our ST coach. Huge difference this year.

Or they just got beat at the bookie betting against the home team 😁
