That game was amazing. Punched them in the throat from beginning to end. Will need that level of violence from the team and for the fans to be loud the entire time.

Looking back at the stats that game...13 passes to 54 runs. AA 35 for 229...TA 13 for 96...Yes please. I do think running down their throat will be the key. Maybe 2 back sets tonite...Quicker screens and maybe roll Raiola out of the pocket. I think he does well throwing on the move.

Gonna let the world know tonite we are "Back in Black". I have not been optimistic in many games post Pelini. Like Charlie Brown and Lucy kicking the football.....But this game feels completely different. USC ha struggled on the road. Coldest game to date (IIRC) for USC, at night, with the blackout, Rhule has the extension, 60 recruits on campus, trash bags on hand for those who refuse to wear black ( :ROFLMAO: ) and Dana realizing we need to run. Maybe it's just the hype and too many hours drinking kool-aid, but damn this feels different.

I feel the opposite tonight. I kinda realize now that these are the games NU always loses so I’m going in with that attitude and it’s much more comforting. If NU wins, then I’m going to be ecstatic, but if the team loses….well it’s what I assumed would happen so on to next week. Which is the opposite of how I felt after Minny game.

I hear you truly. This is the game that NU always loses. I mean always. Ranked opponent? Check. Night game? Check. Nationally televised? Check. Hyped up? Check. Huge recruit weekend? Check. ESPN giving us some love? Check. But just feels different. The team, staff etc not talking about it. Just going about getting ready. If we lose, I'll be ticked. Even if I felt like we were going to lose, I'd be ticked. Just sick of losing. This time it just feels different.

On paper we are supposed to lose. In reality we have a shot due to several circumstances. I'm optimistic but not feeling any pressure. The only way I will be truly disappointed is if we can't keep it competitive. I think it's going to be a great game.
 
I watched a Locked On USC podcast. They were not excited about the black out. The one guy was like "why dont they do a red out". That's every home game and some away game my man
