****UCLA Game Day Thread****

Offense looks good. Defense looks bad. Defense will need to come up with a big turnover or another 4 and 1 stop to put game away. I feel like UCLA will score probably 14 to 21 more points if they don't turn the ball over. We can't have our typical 3rd quarter fart.

He processes fine, but the biggest thing is he plays for Buford. They just need a game manager. Dayton can make all the throws and like I said has better wheels. However, Trae and TJ both look/looked better in HS. Dayton does see good competition though
If they decide to look elsewhere then so be it, we can't have his uncle coaching this line anymore, he is awful.

You think Rhule would actually pull Dylan? He now has an extension through 2030. Would he pull his surrogate son?

TJ simply looks better. Smaller sample size, but it's not like we don't have a large Dylan sample.

Jesus TFing Christ Tap Dancing in a motherf****** cracker, TJ has only started for one half against a team that’s 3-5.

Can we just hold off anointing him as the end all be all for at least two more quarters…or better yet, the end of the regular season after we play Penn State and Iowa?
Stop calling me a cracker ya jerk lol

Ucla had the ball 3 times. 1 td. 1 4th down turnover. 1 stop and missed 49 yrd field goal. Are the qb runs annoying, yes, but JFC quit acting like the d is epically failing. My god!
D is playing well. Very well. Their only offense is their mobile QB who would rather run it than throw it 80% of the time.

Our defense came to play and if we make the necessary adjustments, we will put this game away by the end of the 3rd quarter

Well he is likely the QB the rest of the year. So we'll see.

But 100% completion rate and 3 scores on 3 drives is a pretty good first start for a Freshman in the road.

We haven't done well in the 3rd quarter all year Hopefully the coaches do something different now.
3rd has been our kryptonite for sure. 34 of our points cam across Akron and HCU (they scored none) so stats are somewhat skewed until you take those games out. Unsure if an adjustment issue (they do/we don't), mental lapse (think we have it won already), lack of urgency or "insert reason here". But yea, it's been rough.

Will see the same garbage coaching in the 2nd half, no adjustments

Butler has been sending very smart blitzes where we have had our LBs blowing up their RB in the backfield multiple times. Their QB has done a great job evading that rush.

I expect our guys to start getting to the QB in the 2nd half.
