****UCLA Game Day Thread****

Jesus TFing Christ Tap Dancing in a motherf****** cracker, TJ has only started for one half against a team that’s 3-5.

Can we just hold off anointing him as the end all be all for at least two more quarters…or better yet, the end of the regular season after we play Penn State and Iowa?
I'd slow down, but I've seen so much of Dylan I could replay the entire first half in my mind with UCLA with Dylan in the pocket and see the results.

Hint: we would not have 21 points.

He’s only had one week practicing with the first string and has been more efficient and aggressive. Also, he has legs….makes the offense more threatening. I’m sorry, I am already convinced. If Dylan is our starter next year, we better have bought a whole oline from the portal. He’s a great kid and a great leader, but he is a statue. That will be a problem until we actually have a good line.

I can't say Raiola would be objectively better or worse but I suspect we would be throwing a lot more.
The only way we're objectively better with Raiola, than three for three with three touchdowns, is if we start going for two and are up 22/23/24 to 7.

He'd also have to be 100% completion and a threat to run.

He's a great young man. A strong leader. Rhule tells us he is "elite" pre snap. He's been clutch on last drives.

But with Lateef, do you need a last drive? He's just more crisp.

What the mobile QB did was run for a couple 10+ yard runs. Then the UCLA defense has to pay attention, which frees up EJ and the line on some other run plays. Plus the slants.

If he runs for another couple long keepers to start the next half, it stops the downhill defensive attack at the LOS.
