Probably doesn't help that there has been quite a few more talented QBs decommit within the last 24 hours.

I would take this in a heartbeat though I'm not sure it is a package deal. Dayton gets overshadowed a lot, but the dude is talented. Dayton reminded me a bit of Tommy Armstrong, maybe a little less mobile, but a strong arm and toughness.
I also have to wonder whether he's eyeing whether Lateef hits the portal and who we might be targeting in the portal as a backup.
